This is a stunning year 2000 Realm Engineering Replica of the Jaguar D-Type race car with just 15,308 miles on the odometer. This 2000 Realm Engineering Replica of the Jaguar D-Type was built by Realm Engineering (Honeybourne Worcestershire, UK) in the year 2000. These cars have been lauded by some of the best known race drivers and Realm Engineering has earned a deserved reputation over almost 40 years for its RAM recreations. Their original Jaguar D-types had chassis design input by Reynard Racing resulting in a superb recreation delivering great performance and outstanding handling.

Back in the day, Sir Jack Brabham took a Realm D-Type for a spin and said that is was better than the original car. Richard Noble owns/owned one, and Jaguar Quarterly magazine gave the car accolades for its handling beyond question. This replica of Jaguar's Le Mans-winning D-Type Jaguar features steel e-type like frame supporting its glass fiber bodywork with an aluminum passenger-carrying interior tub.

This Realm reproduction was acquired from Realm Engineering, was completed by a well-respected Jaguar shop in New York, and has almost exclusively Jaguar running gear utilizing BBS wheels with Hoosier 25.5 X 8.00 15 Inch tires mounted. A complete list of the components from Realm can be made available upon request. The engine fires up easily and she runs extremely well. Here are some more detailed specs:

This car has driven approximately 15,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained and stored.

In addition to the D-Type, we have available a 1986 Ford E-350 truck with ramps and built up interior platform creating room for ramp storage underneath the car (Wide Ramps); easy drive in and out. (see video) This truck has a remanufactured 5.8 liter engine installed 4/2004 that has approximately 47,000 miles on it; almost all highway driven (to and from tracks). The car, extra wheels, jack, fuel and tools make up less than half the truck capacity and it cruises at 75 to 80 with ease. The front brakes and transmission oil were changed 5/24. No need for a tow vehicle or trailer, no backing and turning a trailer or concerns about tight corners and fuel station access. Indoor storage for car at no additional cost!
